JOB ANNOUNCEMENT DETERMINA 239/2023
Two-years postdoctoral position in “Characterization of exoplanet atmospheres at high spectral resolution”
The research activity will concern: determining the atmospheric properties (composition, clouds, dynamics) of a sample of extrasolar planets, using high spectral resolution observations from the optical to the near-infrared.

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT DETERMINA 240/2023
Twenty-two months postdoctoral position in “PROMETEUS: Charting metals in extragalactic stellar populations across time and environments”
The research activity will concern: studying the stellar metallicity and chemical abundances in galaxies at different cosmic times and environments. The research can be both observationally-oriented exploiting and interpreting data already or soon-to-be available to our group and theoretically-oriented aimed at developing and validating methods for the measurements of chemical abundances in stellar populations.

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT DETERMINA 241/2023
Twenty-two months postdoctoral position in “Particle escape from their acceleration sites: theory confronts observation”
The research activity will concern: the fellow will work on the escape of accelerated particles from their acceleration sites, the impact they have on the medium in which they propagate and the diagnostics of these effects through high energy astrophysical observations.

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT DETERMINA 242/2023
One year position in “Development of quasi-optical components based on metamaterials for novel cm- to mm-wave astronomical observations"
The research activity will concern: the candidate will participate in the design and testing of auxiliary optical systems to increase the resolving power of a radio telescope beyond the diffraction limit (super-resolution). Some of the optical systems being designed require the use of the so-called "metamaterials".

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT DETERMINA 243/2023
Two-years position in “Feasibility study for HRMOS spectrograph"
The research activity will concern: The candidate will participate in the conceptual study for the realization of a high resolution multi-fibre spectrograph (HRMOS) to be proposed at ESO for the VLT telescope. In particular, he/she will participate in the design and construction of an ``Exposure time calculator” and in defining the spectroscope specifics in terms of sampled spectral ranges, spectral resolution and number of fibres.

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT DETERMINA 244/2023
Two-years postdoctoral position in “The nucleosynthesis of heavy elements: observational constraints from large spectroscopic surveys, Gaia and future instrumentation”
The research activity will concern: The candidate will focus on the following aspects: scientific exploitation of the Gaia ESO database, of the Large Programme MINCE data and of future observations to be obtained with the WEAVE and 4MOST spectrographs, in combination with astrometric, photometric and kinematic information from the Gaia mission. The activities will be carried out in preparation for the conceptual study for the realisation of the multi-object spectrograph to be proposed at ESO for the VLT telescope, HRMOS.
