Gaia mission is underway conducting its nominal 5-year survey of the sky. The first Gaia data release (Gaia DR1) took place 14 Sep 2016. Exploitation is at full speed with new articles appearing regularly. At the moment close to three years of routine phase has been completed and preparations for the second data release (Gaia DR2) are in full swing. The advances made with Gaia catalogues in the topic of young stellar clusters will be presented. A future look to later data releases will be made with special emphasis on Gaia DR2 scheduled for April 2018.
