Estimates of the SNR for LO, after the March 97 run, indicate SNR=1 for K=7.5. This is substantial agreement with recent estimates from November 96, or even slightly better. In practice, it seems useless to attempt occultations of stars fainter than K=6.5-7.0. An example is SAO 96686, having K=6.7 (estimate based on intensity during occultation and current zero point for K). Note that the data are shown rebinned by a factor of 2.
